Ustream

I was exploring Ustream for the first time and

found this channel broadcasting the owner's dogs 24/7.

My first impressions:

Is this live or a still picture? Is it stopped or the dog is just sleeping?

What's going on? Why are 1015 people watching a dog sleeping?

Do people really find it entertaining to watch a dormant dog that's basically a still image?

Observing the dog carefully, though,

I could see the dog's belly going up and down slightly as he was breathing.

All of sudden, I felt warm and fuzzy inside.

I can't describe what it was, but as someone left a comment,

watching a dog sleeping peacefully gives you a sense of Zen.

While I enjoyed watching it,

I felt sad at the same time,

thinking, if this was the way modern people enjoy living creatures.

eve had it all-
everything was in abundance in the garden of eden.
she also had a husband who loves her as his own life.
most of all, she had the most intimate relationship with God any human can possibly have.

still, she must have felt she needed "something" more-
she may have thought she had to get wiser.
after seeing the tree of knowledge, the tree became the "it."

i wondered why she had to eat the apple when everything was already perfect
and eventually lost her right to the paradise.
but, i realized that i'm like her, too.

i have you. i live in the world that you reign.
by the sheer virtue of knowing you, i walk in paradise everyday.
paradise is not lost. we lose paradise when we lose you.

i met a real human this week.
mr.saint- a warm blooded species who is not afraid to love, forgive, and embrace everyone- including the guy who killed his own father.
his warmth lingers and because it's lingering and yet i won't be able to see him again,
it feels terribly empty.
if i could only love like him, letting other people experience this amazingly gentle and kind love...
