More than Enough

eve had it all-
everything was in abundance in the garden of eden.
she also had a husband who loves her as his own life.
most of all, she had the most intimate relationship with God any human can possibly have.

still, she must have felt she needed "something" more-
she may have thought she had to get wiser.
after seeing the tree of knowledge, the tree became the "it."

i wondered why she had to eat the apple when everything was already perfect
and eventually lost her right to the paradise.
but, i realized that i'm like her, too.

i have you. i live in the world that you reign.
by the sheer virtue of knowing you, i walk in paradise everyday.
paradise is not lost. we lose paradise when we lose you.

Hesed

when i was desperate&in doubt,

you told me your love is Hesed.

unconditional, unfailing, unchanging, enduring grace, love, kindness,

the love based on the eternal promise that cannot be broken.

Hesed. how sweet it sounds.

Two Choices

Lord,

You know, sometimes I get intimated and scared by the reality,

although I try hard not to show anyone.

But,

I know there are only two choices:

Trust & Distrust

Belief & Disbelief

Keep encouraging me so that I can live an authentic life

that is inspired and led by Your Spirit only.

Calm at the center of even the worst storm.

Giving Thanks

i'm thankful for knowing who to thank for everything in my life.
