Analogy

I was reading a paper I wrote in a Jazz class in college,
and I was surprised by the funny analogy I made up.

“Each dilution was simply a phenomenon based on cultural limitations (or excess) and, as such, was only related directly to the cultural elements which provided for existence. Fletcher Henderson was not responsible for the Ipana Troubadours, just as Charlie Parker was not responsible for Boyd Raeburn.”[1] In other words, the Chinese chefs in the mainland who pour out their souls into their state-of-art dishes are not responsible for the low quality, commercialized taste of the American Chinese food.

Realization

The pattern goes like this:
I get stressed out when I can't express my creativity.
When stressed out, I create something.
It's got to be expressed in some kind of form.
Or, I feel dissatisfied.
This is why inspirations are invaluable.

Up in the Air

I like everything about this penthouse.
I really love the effortlessly modern and natural interiors.
It's spacious and graceful. Modern yet very homey and cheerful.
It's "livable" unlike other overly modern model-home-like places.
And this terrace just makes me speechless.

Hesed

when i was desperate&in doubt,
you told me your love is Hesed.
unconditional, unfailing, unchanging, enduring grace, love, kindness,
the love based on the eternal promise that cannot be broken.
Hesed. how sweet it sounds.

Two Choices

Lord,
You know, sometimes I get intimated and scared by the reality,
although I try hard not to show anyone.

But,
I know there are only two choices:
Trust & Distrust
Belief & Disbelief

Keep encouraging me so that I can live an authentic life
that is inspired and led by Your Spirit only.
Calm at the center of even the worst storm.
